When on Wednesday I received the scales referred to in your despatch message below, they did not work. On Thursday morning, I phoned you and got straight through to a very helpful lady who reviewed the issue with me and immediately organised for a replacement to be shipped out and the original consignment to be collected. This morning (Friday), a ParcelForce agent arrived with the new package and collected the old one. The replacement scales are fine.

Little did Kevin from Leicester realise when he was ordering his Body fat monitor that he was going to be Sscalesexpress.com’s 10,000 winter customer. He had come back from a business trip and opened his new scale when he got the call from Gail Hounslea the Wardworth Ltd Managing Director to tell him he had won a fantastic T6 cordless Dect phone designed by Jacob Jensen, the Danish world renowned designer who has designed for Bang & Olafson and Gaggenau to name but a few.

The North Manchester Business Awards for Excellence and Achievement exist to promote the best of business and enterprise in Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Wigan.

Wardworth was awarded as runners up in the E-Business of the Year category and took away £1000 as part of their prize.

It was a fully enjoyable evening, and hopefully next year we will take pole position!
