Finding the most effective way to access roofs and to meet HSE regulations is something that Tommy Deans at Aquashield was keen to achieve.

Tommy was keen to source the very best roof access solution, so when the company's local H&S Inspector suggested a particular ladder staging system supplied by Ladderstore that might fit the bill, Tommy was keen to explore its benefits and compare it to the scaffold towers and roof ladders they currently used.

Arun District Council needed to source a suitable vertical fixed ladder system for the restoration of Grade II listed Hotham Clock Tower where hooped ladders could not be fitted due to the fixed apertures of the landings. At more than two hundred years old, Hotham Park Clock Tower in Bognor Regis needed refurbishment. Set within the largest park in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, the tower – a Grade II listed building - was built by Sir Richard Hotham who founded Bognor Regis and as such it has historical and local significance.
